Arrival at Demra Ghat by 5 am and transfer to The ARK. Cruising cut-off time is 6am. The ARK will commence its journey towards the Sundarbans via Barisal immediately when breakfast will be served. Enjoy the cruise through the mighty Meghna River and see and experience the confluence of mighty Padma (The Ganges) and Meghna from any of our three comfortable decks. We will continue the cruise throughout the day & the night during which lunch (1:30pm), sumptous evening tea (5 pm) and dinner (9 pm) will be served.

The cruise continues until we reach to Chandpai forest station in the Sundarbans. Here we will pay the forest fees and collect the armed guards. By 6pm, we hope to reach Kochikhali in the Sundarbans on the mouth of the Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival at Kochikhali if time permits, we will have a short jungle walk near the forest office. After sunset we will take a Night Safari along the river bank. We will anchor here to spend the night on board.


Early in the morning, take a mechanised life-boat ride to view wild life on the Sundarbans riverbanks and inside the narrow canals which will allow you to experience the flora and fauna of the Sundarbans upclose. After breakfast, The ARK will start its journey towards Kotka through Jelapi Khal (Twisted Rivulet). The two hour journey, will allow you to have a close glimpse of this magnificent jungle and its' unique winding waterways. Upon arrival at Kotka, take a boat trip through a canal to Jamtali. At Jamtali, we will take you on 2/3 hours-long leisurely trek through tiger country meadows towards the beach. The Jamtali beach is one of the most beautiful and secluded unpolluted beaches in the Sundarbans. Here you can sit back and relax and enjoy your time and take a dip amidst the incredible scenery. Along this trek, which DISCOVERY Channel named as TIGER HIGHWAY, keep your eyes peeled for varied wildlife and tiger pugmarks. Back to The ARK for lunch around 1.30 pm. After lunch, we will take you bird watching in the canals on our large mechanised life-boat and later go for another trek near the Kotka forest office to watch herds of deer and enjoy the sunset on the Bay of Bengal from a pristine and isolated beach. After sunset we will start our cruise back towards Dhaka. A hearty barbeque dinner will be served by 8pm. The cruise will continue throughout the night.


After breakfast you will disembark The ARK at Mongla where your chartered A/C bus will bring you back to Dhaka by evening and drop you off at a designated point in Gulshan.
